Baking and Cake Decorating Lessons

 

We provide adult and children baking and cake decorating lessons. These take place in your own home or designated venue and can be booked for individuals or groups.

 

Cupcake Baking and Decorating - This lesson covers baking your delicious cupcakes using our recipes and ingredients, followed by perfecting your buttercream icing for piping and looking at using a mixture of sugarpaste and sprinkles to decorate your cakes beautifully with professional skill.
Organise a one on one lesson to perfect your skills or gather a group of friends to enjoy the class with you. Use of an oven is necessary for this class.

We will bring all necessary ingredients and tools, and you will create your own box of 12 cakes by the end of the 3 hour class.

From £80 per person.

 

Cupcake Decorating - This lesson covers decorating freshly baked cupcakes and focuses more on sugarcraft shapes, models and techniques, including the classic rose decoration. We also look at piping and sprinkles to finish your cakes beautifully with professional skill.
Organise a one on one lesson to perfect your skills or gather a group of friends to enjoy the class with you.

We will bring all necessary ingredients, baked cakes and tools, and you will create your own box of 4 cakes by the end of the 2 hour class.

From £80 per person.

 

Perfecting the Covered Sponge Cake - This lesson covers baking a 6 inch sponge cake, creating the perfect icing consistency, crumb coating, polishing your smoothed cake surface and covering with marzipan or ganache and fondant sugar paste. We will then guide you through decorating your sponge with the use of sugar paste and tools, including the classic rose decoration as well as other fun or formal ways to perfect your solid cake. Use of an oven is necessary for this class.

We will bring all necessary ingredients and tools, and you will create your own decorated and finished 6 inch cake by the end of the 3 hour class.

From £105 per person.
